EMMS provide a number of solutions for both inhalation and intravenous drug delivery. Our plethysmographs support both inhalation and IV drug delivery. Aerosols can be delivered directly to the airways as with our resistance and compliance system or distributed to subjects with our exposure boxes or whole body plethysmography chambers. Our Head-Out Plethysmographs are available for mouse, rat, large rat and guinea pig and can be used to conduct respiratory monitoring while dosing. We offer a variety of nose cone sizes to ensure that our plethysmographs can not only work with our inhalation towers but with any tower you may currently have in your lab.

EMMS whole body plethysmographs can be converted from standard to IV dosing without the need to purchase an entirely new chamber. Our IV infusion tower for whole body plethysmographs allow for IV dosing during continuous monitoring. This is important when administering fast acting compounds where the effect could otherwise be lost in post-dosing activity.
